About Sam

With photography being a hobby that runs in Sam’s family, he was quick to be introduced. Sam started taking his first pictures at the age of 12. He has made many discoveries in the nature of photography. Participating in many photography groups and photography summer camps. This has given Sam the ability and the opportunity to take many pictures. Sam has had the opportunity to meet many professional photographers early on. Having all of these experiences, Sam needed a place to talk about his journeys and document them along the way.

Grandma Teeny

When Sam first began shooting, his biggest supporter was his grandmother who no matter how the pictures came out would still be happy with Sam’s effort and enthusiasm. Even though sometimes things don’t work out she still finds ways to work around them. There is nothing better then having a supportive Grandmother in your life. She has lead Sam down the path of photography which she had been traveling decades before him. Photography is one of the greatest ways to bring people together and it truly shows.

With Grandma Teeny’s help, Sam would attend his first workshop lead by professional photographer, Jay Fleming, at the age of 12. It was during this first workshop that Sam saw the whole picture of photography. Photography was more then just taking pictures, it was about the bonds you form with other people while doing so. Sam would end up getting his first print of his own photo to take home with the help of Jay. From then on out, Sam would keep taking pictures and would go on many more trips with Grandma Teeny.
