Belvedere Creek, other wise known as Heron Creek, is located in Southern Maryland. Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Osprey and Geese enjoy the inhabited woodlands, abundant fish, and other natural things found in the creek. Numerous heron nests can be found high in the trees and can be heard echoing around the creek. Geese like to fly in nightly to feed on the fish while the Osprey occupy the creek during the summer and the Bald Eagles move in around fall for the winter. Many nights the water is so still, the reflection from the trees and sky is crystal clear. The creek splits off into three other sections that can only be accessed during high tide.
